About Us
Our Story
We met back in 2010 at a political rally in Washington DC, but didn't really get to know one another until Tom moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2011, and reconnected during COVID in California. From there, we've made the journey North to Canada together, first British Columbia, and now Nova Scotia!
The Bride
Erin Henschel
Erin lived in Halifax, NS while attending Dalhousie University at the very same time that Tom lived in Wolfville, NS while attending Acadia University. The two somehow managed to avoid ever crossing paths while living in Nova Scotia, despite visiting each others campuses, and didn't meet until years later. Erin is excited to have found her lobster, and to bring him back with her to the lobster coast.
The Groom
Tom Heinan
Ever since Tom ended up in Nova Scotia during his university years, he's had a goal of getting back. In the past year, he and Erin finally made good on that quixotic dream, becoming permanent residents of Canada. They're now in the process of finding a home in Nova Scotia, and Tom is excited for Erin to finally make an honest man out of him this October.
